This Chicago engagement session almost didn’t happen! Angie & Carlos and I had one heck of a time scheduling their engagement session. The first time we scheduled, Carlos had a work injury that left his left eye red and almost closed shut. Ouch! The re-scheduled date came and a snow storm blew in out of nowhere! We were watching the weather almost everyday and last week Angie text me bright and early to say “DID you see? It’s going to be nice Sunday!” Nothing was going to stop us this time. Rain or shine we were shooting their session. Angie & Carlos picked some amazing locations for us to shoot their engagement session at. We started at the Chicago mural near the Blue line and ventured to Chicago’s Western Trailhead. We ended our session at the Bloomingdale Trail for a sunset ending. Logan Square, where I grew up at, is one of the best locations in Chicago for artistic and nuanced murals and graffiti. I am so glad that Angie & Carlos were so adventurous and helped pull me out of my comfort zone to shoot this amazing Urban Chicago engagement session. Looking forward to their wedding next year. I hope you all enjoy this very special Chicago engagement session.
XOXO
