Vineyard Wedding At Acquaviva Winery

Tracy & David’s Vineyard Wedding at Acquaviva Winery was amazing. I first met them two years ago when David hired me to photograph his proposal to Tracy. David proposed in December of 2019 next to the Christmas tree at Millennium Park in Chicago. Tracy was so shocked and happy when David got down on one knee. He was a man full of surprises and knew the way to Tracy’s heart. On their wedding day, David did not disappoint! Sunday afternoon he stood next to Tracy and in front of their friends & family, David surprised Tracy yet once again. This time it was with Dragonfly cufflinks. The dragonfly has deep meaning for Tracy. It is cemented in her memory of her birth father, who passed many years ago. To Tracy, the Dragonfly represents his soul and presence. David spoke to me about this a few weeks ago and told me that on many of their first dates they both had spotted a dragonfly. Tracy even has a Dragonfly tattoo that symbolizes her own reemergence. David has worn a dragonfly necklace since shortly after they started dating. The history is rather deep and very special to them both.

Hearing how these two souls met. How they blended their two families into one happy Brady Bunch-style family makes you believe in second chances for love. For romance. For knowing you have found your other half. Your soulmate.
