I met Ann & Robin last month at a neighborhood Starbucks here in Chicago. They were referred to me by another client of mine, Kitty & Lee who I had the pleasure of shooting their wedding this past August! When Ann and Robin arrived, Ann shook my hand and immediately asked if I wouldn’t mind going to the bar across the way for a drink with them. She had me at Bar lol After we ordered our beers and became acquainted we discussed their wedding details and everything they DID NOT want when it came to wedding photography. This was not your typical Bride & Groom and I was a-okay with that! I loved how well they knew what they wanted and more importunately what they did not want.

The day of the wedding could not have been more perfect! The sun was shining and there was just a nice cool breeze out that reminded us all that Autumn was near. Ann was so relaxed and carefree about the day. She was enjoying her girlfriends and the many co-workers that snuck away to see her in her wedding gown. Ann works at the Garfield Park Conservatory so it was fitting that her wedding would take place there <3 Ann & Robin were just so emotionally in bliss during their wedding ceremony. There was not a dry eye amongst their guest and bridal party, whether from crying from laughter or just because they were so happy that these two were finally tying the knot!
