Wedding Day

I first met Allison and Billy on a chilly and windy day in downtown Chicago at the museum campus. We met in the late afternoon for their engagement session. Allison & Billy met five years ago while they worked at Soldier Field. Both being from Irish families, they shared a lot of similar interests including their love for their heritage. This love for their heritage and each other was definitely present on their wedding day.

Allison and Billy’s Dec 30th, 2022 wedding was my last wedding of the season. I saved the best for last apparently because my team and I had a blast covering this wedding day. The day started off at Allison and Billy’s new home and continued on to their neighborhood church, Saint Pascal Catholic Church. They shared their intimate first look right outside the church, with Allison’s two best mates looking on.

The ceremony was so moving with Allison and Billy having Irish musicians/singer that gave their ceremony that special touch and made it very beautiful.

One of the highlights of the evening at Allegra Banquets was a surprise visit from the Shannon rovers bagpipe band! They blew us all away. Especially me and my second, Dominique who had never had the pleasure of attending one of their events. It was an amazing wedding and a beautiful day. I am so glad to have met and had the honor of capturing this special new season in Allison and Billy’s life. I hope you two are having an amazing honeymoon and I hope you love your sneak peek!
