Anniversary Photoshoot in Chicago | Lani & Trimi

I was excited when Lani and Trimi got in touch with me for their anniversary photoshoot in Chicago! During their discovery call, I learned that on the day of their wedding, they didn’t get the opportunity to take classically beautiful wedding portraits. It was the missing part of their perfect day! Lani had been following me on Instagram for a while. Based on my profile, she knew I would be able to capture the romance and elegance she missed on her wedding day with a beautiful anniversary photoshoot in Chicago.

The Wrigley Building

For romantic and beautiful views, you can’t beat The Wrigley Building in downtown Chicago. In fact, Redfin agrees! Redfin just published a photo from this session in their 13 Beautiful Places in Chicago every local has to see. That was truly a great honor.

When I spoke with Lani and Trimi and we were planning the portrait session, I knew The Wrigley Building was a must.

The Wrigley Building is a beacon in the Chicago skyline. The building is tucked in and out of sight right off Michigan Ave, holding amazing architecture and elegance. During sunset, the light shines through the columns and lights up the area sophisticatedly. It is a breathtaking area of our beautiful city.

Anniversary Photoshoot in Chicago

After our time at The Wrigley Building, we headed off to North Ave Beach. Trimi wanted the Chicago skyline in the background and Lake Michigan as well. We had some fun making some dramatic and romantic portraits. The results were amazing! Lani and Trimi are absolutely a beautiful couple no doubts there but they are so fun to be around and share amazing chemistry. I’m delighted to have captured beautiful portraits at their anniversary photoshoot in Chicago that capture their spark and connection.
