Chicago North Ave Beach Engagement Session

Justine & Alfredo’s North Ave beach engagement session took place this Sunday and man was it a cold one. Thank god for adventurous couples. It was in the low 20’s and the ground was icy and snowy. By the end of the engagement session, none of us could feel our fingers. But we made the best of a cold session and the images speak for themselves. Justine and Alfredo met as young kids. Neighborhood friends that enjoyed one another’s company. They fell in love and had their first date at the movie theater. Alfredo proposed to Justine on Christmas day with both their families present. Alfredo proposed right at the same spot that they had met as children. That spot is significant to them because that is where their friendship and fondness for one another first began.

For their engagement session, Justine and Alfredo wanted their engagement photos to showcase the beautiful city they live in as well as intimate and romantic photos. My specialty! They wanted to convey their feelings for one another and be a celebration of this next chapter in their lives as a soon-to-be-married couple.
