Life has thrown them some curve balls and slowed down their plans for their wedding date but just this past week, Shannon surprised Amy with a quick trip to Chicago to have a little fun and relaxation.

Amy & Shannon got engaged in our beautiful city 3 years ago on a trip from their home town of Austin, Texas! Just this past week, Shannon surprised Amy with a quick trip to Chicago to have a little fun and relaxation. I heard from Amy on Friday that she wanted to surprise her fiancee with a long-overdue engagement session. We arraigned to meet at the Art Institute to begin our adventure around downtown Chicago. Amy & Shannon are two of the nicest ladies I have had the pleasure of working with. Amy and I hit it off right away with our love for Waco, Texas and Joann & Chip from Fixer-upper! Shannon just laughed at us and pointed out how we were both little nuts. I truly hope that Amy & Shannon decide to have their wedding here and this won’t be the last time I get to see these two amazing ladies! Thank you, Amy & Shannon, for choosing me to capture your love for one another and I hope you had a fabulous trip! Safe travels heading home.
