This past Saturday, I had the honor of capturing Maria and Matt’s beautiful wedding—a day filled with elegance, joy, and family warmth. With deep Italian roots, a close-knit family, and a love that radiates, Maria and Matt created a wedding day that was truly a reflection of everything they hold dear.

Getting Ready at Maria’s Childhood Home

The morning started with Maria getting ready in the comfort of her childhood home, surrounded by the people who’ve supported and loved her every step of the way—her mother, father, siblings, and closest friends. There was something so special about seeing her step into her wedding dress in a place so rich with memories. We took time to capture portraits of her and her family in front of the house, adding a personal touch to this already meaningful day.

The ceremony took place at the stunning St. Michael Catholic Church in Wheaton, Illinois, a place of tradition and timeless beauty. Following the ceremony, we headed to Eagle Brook Country Club in Geneva, Illinois, for portraits and the reception. The weather was a dream for early November—clear skies, warm sunshine, and vibrant autumn leaves in full bloom. It felt like the perfect canvas to capture the elegance of the day and the joy shared by this incredible couple. Maria looked stunning in her wedding dress, and the surrounding landscape added an extra touch of magic to their portraits.

A Reception Full of Family, Love, and Generations of Memories

The reception at Eagle Brook was the perfect celebration for Maria and Matt’s family-centered wedding.
