Camille & Bret’s wedding was absolutely breathtaking! We started out at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar in downtown Chicago where I got getting ready photos of the groom. The bride stayed hidden in her suite with her closet friends and waited for the call to come downstairs for their First Look. For the first time in my professional career, I photographed the first look inside a hotel. It was cold and rainy the whole day so not too many options for outside portraits. But thankfully the Palomar Hotel has so many beautiful areas to choose from for bridal portraits.
After Camille & Bret’s portrait time in the hotel, we all headed over to the South Shore Culture Center. This venue was one for the books! It has historic architecture and the most amazing details and cathedral ceilings I have ever had the pleasure of shooting in.
All eyes were on the beautiful bride and her dashing husband. The entire day was filled with so much laughter and soooo many HAPPY tears from everyone at this wedding. The father of the bride gave the most beautiful and heartfelt speech that there was not a dry eye in the reception room. The best part of the evening hands down was the father/daughter. The night was filled with so much love, laughter, friendship and family coming together to celebrate these two beautiful souls.
Congratulations to Camille & Bret and thank you for having me be a part of this truly spectacular day.
