The Theater on the Lake is one of those venues that can be designed and decorated any way the couple sees fit. An empty canvas. It is one of Chicago’s most unique venues and really gives your guest the full Chicago experience. It sits right on Chicago’s Lakefront property and summer weddings are a must at this venue. For Michelle & Ryan’s day, this was a BIG celebration with their Chicago friends and family. This in fact was their second wedding, the first taking place during the height of Covid. They didn’t have a ceremony this time around, just a big celebration. What they did do was run around downtown taking photos at their favorite spots and enjoying the beautiful day with their wedding party. I had so much fun being a part of their day and being around them was so much fun! Michelle and Ryans’ day was so laid back and just all about these two and their new life together. I hope you enjoy viewing their day as much as I had fun second shooting it.

Winterlyn

INTENTIONALLY LIMITED. ARTISTICALLY DRIVEN.
Because your story deserves my absolute focus and creative energy, I intentionally limit the number of weddings I document each year. This ensures you receive an immersive, dedicated experience from day one. While I am a Chicago-based wedding photographer, my work takes me across the Midwest—from the refined lakefronts of Michigan and the rolling landscapes of Wisconsin, to the heart of Illinois and beyond.
If you are planning an intentional celebration in Chicago or a destination wedding elsewhere, I would be honored to masterfully preserve your story..
