Devyn and Jordan traveled all the way from New York to capture their engagement photos at Lincoln Park, Chicago. Chicago is very special to them. Austin had never been to the city until Devyn brought him for a visit years ago to visit her grandmother. Some of their fondest memories are visiting Chicago in December and attending a Blackhawks game, and then getting pizza at Pequod’s together. Truly one of the best days they have shared together.

I met up with them this past Sunday at Lincoln Park Boardwalk and right away I could feel how warm and compassionate this couple was. We enjoyed hitting all the key spots in LP and then headed on over to North Ave Beach. Skyline engagement photos are a MUST in Chicago. There is no view like ours. Am I right?!

I always have a blast getting to know my couples and capturing the authenticity of their relationship. Devyn and I laughed at Austin when he kept bringing up jumping into Lake Michigan for the fun of it. We dismissed the idea until we got to the end of our time together and I said “Why Not!” “Life is all about moments.” And this was a great moment to share and of course, I got to capture it all while staying dry lol Devyn and Austin really helped me end the summer on a high note and I am so happy they found me and put their faith in me to capture their moment in our beautiful city.
