There’s something so special about reconnecting with couples who already feel like friends. My recent engagement session with Toni and Trevor at Chicago’s beautiful Museum Campus was one of those sessions that felt like catching up with family.
Toni and I first met when she was a bridesmaid in my couple Alyssa and Brad’s wedding last year, and we clicked right away. I remember seeing her joy and kindness as she celebrated her friends’ big day, and I couldn’t have been more honored when she reached out after getting engaged to say she wanted me to be her wedding photographer. Knowing that she had pictured me as part of her own wedding journey even before she was engaged was incredibly humbling. That trust and excitement are what make this work so meaningful for me.
