I love Autumn! I especially love hosting my Autumn Minis every year. Yes, my name is Winter but the Autumn season is my jam! For three dates in the month of October, I celebrate the Autumn season with a 20-minute mini session. I capture many families. Some new to my business while others I have captured for 6 years now. I love getting to see these families and catch up on the year they all have been having. This year was especially special to me because I was asked to photograph my niece and her little family and during our session, my niece’s boyfriend surprised us all by getting down on one knee and proposing to her! Ahhhhhhh!!! I was so overjoyed and teary eyed that I almost forgot to take photos of the moment lol I am so happy to put together a small gallery to showcase all of these amazing people and to show that even though Covid-19 has had a tight grip on all of us, we still can enjoy the smallest moments. The beautiful moments that mean so much to us all. Thank you so much to all the families who came out to see me. I can’t wait to do it all over again next October <3
XoXo,
Winterlyn
Autumn Minis

Intentionally Limited. Artistically Driven.
To ensure every couple receives the presence and creative energy they deserve, I accept only a select number of commissions each year. While I am a Chicago based wedding photographer, my work takes me across the Midwest, from the lakefronts of Michigan and the landscapes of Wisconsin to the heart of Illinois and beyond.
If you are planning a celebration in Chicago or a destination wedding elsewhere and value a blend of documentary and editorial photography, I would be honored to hear your story.
