Lauren and Ben’s love story took them from Atlanta to Chicago, where they chose to begin the next chapter of their lives together. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they exchanged vows at the beautiful The Dawson, nestled in the heart of Chicago’s Fulton River District. It was a perfect autumn day, with the crisp breeze and vibrant colors of fall painting the scene for their celebration of love.
Their Micro Wedding was intimate yet brimming with the warmth and excitement of a much larger gathering. Lauren and Ben brought a touch of southern charm to the Windy City, blending seamlessly with the elegance of their new home. The Dawson provided a stunning backdrop for their heartfelt ceremony and reception, offering both sophistication and comfort that reflected the couple’s personalities.
One of my favorite moments of the day was capturing the joy and laughter shared between Lauren, Ben, and their guests. The love surrounding them was palpable, filling the space with an undeniable sense of celebration. There was something incredibly special about the simplicity of their day, where every detail—big and small—felt personal and intentional.
As a wedding photographer, it’s always an honor to capture the beginning of a couple’s forever. For Lauren and Ben, this day wasn’t just about becoming husband and wife; it was about creating new memories in a city they now call home. Their story is a beautiful reminder of how love can lead us to new places, new adventures, and the joy of building a life together.
Congratulations, Lauren and Ben! May your days continue to be filled with as much love and happiness as your wedding day. Here’s to your forever in Chicago!

I take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure a deeply personalized experience. If you’re planning a wedding in Chicago or the Midwest and want photography that feels intentional, supportive, and emotionally true to your day, I’d love to hear about what you’re imagining.
